Trident Photography is the art of John A. Harris. His canvas is that of aviation, ships, commercial diving, law enforcement & EMS. As well as; expedition, adventure and photojournalism.
Mr. Harris has been shooting since 1984, professionally since 1994. He started out as a fashion, glamour and agency photographer. His model work was very distinct and has been seen and used in multiple magazines, as well as in galleries, showcases and portfolios.
Going back to his teen years, he always had a facination and love for ships, shipwrecks, helicopters and planes. He was a certified diver at the age of 15 and worked in the diving industry for approximately 10 years and still continues to dive as a hobby. He worked briefly as a sailor on the Great lakes and has alway sought out adventure. A 1990 graduate of Executive Security International in Aspen Colorado has brought Mr. Harris to work very closely with law enforcement, Homeland Security and EMS. He has spent over 20 years as a Security Manager for hospitals and a DoD facility. It was a natural fit for him to work as a photographer shooting what he really loves...Helicopters, ships, divers, emergency vehicles and planes.
Currently, flying with crews, chasing ships and finding that breath-taking image is where you will likely find Mr. Harris. His work is being seen in magazines, calendars, corporate marketing material, social sites and in contests.
